To flater we use:

*Generally appear before the nouns that modify
*Are never plural

We also use comparisons
Comparatives and superlatives.
Spelling of comparative and superlative form

For one-syllable adjective add er o est
If the adjective ends in one vowel followed by one consonant, double the last letter
If the adjective ends in consonant “y” change the “y” to “I” and add er o est
If de adjective ends in an “e”, just add r o st
